I bought this at an estate sale quite a few years ago. It is a cast iron folding stool or step for a buggy or carriage. It was probably refinished and recovered at one time. The upholstery fabric on the seat has a geometric design in colors of red, blue, orange, yellow, gray/green and black. The iron legs are numbered 1-4. There\'s some numbers stamped? on the underside of one slat and also some faint pencil markings. The other wood slat has some old gouge marks on top.
