\"Rare\" VintageLLOYD\'S Quadratic Sound(LQS) Four Channel AM/FMStereo Receiver -Repaired &Serviced In Excellent Workingand Cosmetic Condition -Featured: Magnetic PhonoInput,Aux1 & 2, Tape Monitor In & Out, Loudness, Lo & Hifilter and more (See Photos). All the pots has been cleaned, all burnt out lights has been replaced including the pointer lights which has been replace with LEDsthat changes color whenthe Receiver is tuned to aFM station in stereo. Inaddition,a broken toggle switch (loudness on/off)was replacedwith a very good matching replacement. Except for a few miner lite scratches the face plate is in great condition with al the lettering still perfect and wood case cover surprisingly still in great condition also.During the 60s & 70 there were yourtopHi Fistereo systems ranging from brand names such as Technics,Realistic to the top of the line brand names likeMarantz and McIntosh. Then there werethe poor workersstereos, which camewith their own speakers which RCA plug for connection to unit\'s RCA speaker terminals at the rear, AM/FM, built in 8 trackplayer, and a modest type turntable which hadceramic cartridges with theflip side needles (stylists). Many of these system were of verylowquality with unknown or low quality name brands to match, but than there weresomethat was better that others with better brand names such asGE, Panasonic, Zenith, Magnavox andLLOYD\'S to name a few. This 4 Channelunit was one of LLOYD\'S topof the line which had better sound and came with a magneticphono input for better quality turntables in stead of thelow quality ceramic types.I\'ve have testedall 4 speakers terminal on this unit with a Cd playerconnected to theAux inputportswith a pair of 50w Infinity speakers, with no in-balanceand it sounds great without lacking in volume.If you want real vintage this is it! Please note: this unit hasRCAspeaker terminals,you will haveto wire splice a set of RCAplugs and attach them to the wires from your set of speakers, and simplyplug into the RCA speaker terminals at the rear (no big deal).Allconnectors and functionsat therear workand in great condition.The unit is also very clean inside with norust,over all I would say that this LLOYD\'S Receiver is in excellent condition. I have given you my best assessment on the condition of this unit. However, keep in mind that this thing isover 40 years old, so there are no guaranteesand is Sold AS Is.
