The reverse of the coin depicts a piece of coal scrip and states Good for 60 Looks- .999 silver.. The obverse depicts the anxiety and uncertainty of the miner as he arrives to find a closed mine, receives a pink slip, and contemplates the future. Five hundred coins were minted. Demand determines the final mintage number. The founder of The Bronze Look hails from a coal mining family and experienced the cycle of coal from his father being a coal miner.
