Offered for sale is a spectacular 16 foot cedar ribbed wood and canvas canoe handmade by Jim Frank from Oshkosh, Wisconsin around 1990.
The front bears a brass nameplate of \"Trapper Canoe Co.\" but it was custom made by Jim as a hobby – he was not a full-time professional boatbuilder.
Our American Legion Post purchased this canoe from the estate of a man who duck hunted and served on the Oshkosh fire department with Jim.
The yoke was replaced with one that fits around the neck to make it easier to portage but we have the original yoke which can easily be swapped.
The boat is in excellent, gently used vintage condition. It is ready for the water or ready for display.

The Buy It Now price reflects listings which have ended in the past 60 days.
Please make an offer.Although no reasonable offer will be refused, we ask you to consider our efforts to raise funds for a new American Legion building anderr to the side of generosity.
If the Best Offer feature is disabled, that indicates that we\'ve already dropped the price several times and will not accept anything less than the Buy It Now price. At that point, it makes more sense to donate the item to our thrift store which funds the local food pantry than to take the time to carefully pack and ship the item at giveaway prices.
