This is a very rare late 1800\'s primitive (riveted handle) T Sheldon & Co No 2 5 Pints cast iron water kettle. It is very old as this company no longer existed after the late 1800\'s. All original with antique patina (almost looks like hand forged) cast iron. The kettle is about 10 inches tall to the top of the handle and you will note it has a wider handle with more distance from cover only typical of the really old ones. All original condition. No rust on the outside. Has some limited rust on the inside. Very nice piece.Great country kitchen primitive collectable.
