This listing is for the rare original box of playing cards shown. Circa 1860-1890.

Overall the cards are in good condition, and you get instructions with antique wear as shown. This item contains:

- the directions booklet (has some foxing and tape on spine and other antique wear);
- 31 cards (missing one text card).

The box measures approx 4\"x 3\" x 1\" high

The directions booklet has instructions for several games, which is a bonus if you own any of the other games without the instructions. The games include: Cinderella, Where is Johnny, Cock Robin, House that Jack Built, Little Red Riding Hood and Old Mother Hubbard.

The playing cards measure approx 2.25\"x1.75\". Overall, light antique wear for age including light toning and soiling. Bright colors. Small curve. Thick cardstock cards. Blank on the back.

The box has original early stitch repair which makes the box overall solid. Also vivid coloring. Missing patterned paper on one side of box bottom.

One of the nicer sets of this game that we have seen for the age.

This game has an estimated value of $400 as noted in the catalog book: American Games: Comprehensive Collector\'s Guide.\" Krause Publications, 1999, Cat. # 692; page 27.
