This early 1900s quilt is very unique! Flag squares that came in tobacco boxes were sewn together to make this amazing patchwork quilt! Notice the Japan flag is the old rising sun, German swastika, Confederate Rebel flag, SouthAustralia flag, 48 star American flag, and others. All look at how many different colors of thread were used throughout. Very warm quilt. The back is a blue, black plaid. There are a few places were the color bled, and one stain (hardly noticeable, see last 2 pics). See pictures. Quilt is approx. 50 1/2\" wide, 54\" long. Somebody put a lot of work into this quilt. I have not laundered it, as to keep its authenticity. Kept in pet free, smoke free home. Feel free toask any questions. Insurance is included in shipping. Thanks for looking!
