♥Sweethearts ♥ What a wonderful, CHADVALLEY, England, circa 1927-1930, toddler boy doll to add to your antique doll collection! This rare character childis, 17\" tall andfully jointed (arms legs and swivel neck) with a chubby child-like, hard-stuffed velveteen body, shaped elbows and knees, separate thumbs, stitched fingers and toes, stitched-on, double-thickness felt ears on felt head, brown side-glancing eyes and eyebrows,nicely molded eye sockets and nose, two-tone painted lips and beautiful, thick blond mohair wig with side part. He has the same type of stitched head seam at the back as the Lenci, Italy dolls of the same era. He wears all his original, black felt andorgandy clothing including shorts with felt buttoned suspenders over an off-white, organdy shirt with ruffled collar and cuffs, necktie and matching black felt, fitted jacket with applied felt flower boutonniere, cotton knit socks and original black leatherette shoes with side button closures. He is fully tagged on the sole of his foot with the Chad Valley cloth label as well as tagged on his torso with the ChadValley, metal and celluloid, fastened button. Not sure if he maybe a member of a wedding party or royalty. (loc 11) His Mabel Lucie Attwell(Chad Valley labeled) companions are not included and available separately. He is in excellent, very clean condition with no stains, damages or repairs (slight surface wear at the back of his neck seam). He has no odors and is from a smoke free home.
