Item: This sale is for a 1920s RCA Radiola UZ-1325 radio horn speaker in good working condition. The base is metal and the bell is hard rubber, made by Miller Rubber Co. This has the original 2000-ohm high impedance magnetic driver and there is a lever for adjusting it. A metal tag is riveted to the base, identifying it as a model UZ-1325. This is a good match with the Radiola III-A, Radiola AR-812 Superheterodyne, Radiola Regenoflex, and other RCA radios of the time, and it can also be used with most other 1920s radios.Condition: Looks very nice and clean. The bell is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, and it is very clean. The base shows paint wear and a little light corrosion if you look close, but generally it looks good. The metal bottom cover is there, as you can see in the last photo. The cloth-covered cord is probably the original one and is in good condition except the metal tips could be shined up and soldered onto the wires better. I tested the speaker with an ohm-meter and see that resistance is about 2000 ohms, as it should be. I also played it on an Atwater Kent battery radio to verify that it sounds good.
