It is dedicated to the \"First Battalion Fifth Regiment of the United States Marine Corps 1918.\" There are numerous illustrations by author, both B&W and color. They are excellent and make the prose even more powerful. Book is hardcover and measures 7 X 9.5\" and has 245 pages. Cover has edge wear with soft corners. There are some light soil or fingerprint smudges on cover. Pages are good, clean and odor free. Frontispiece illustration isprotected by parchment that has small tear. Hinge is solid and binding tight.
