Here\'s some info on these cute little dogs and Texaco:
Texaco used these two cute little Scottish Terriers in a successful advertising campaign in 1931 along with the word \"Listen\". When Texaco was ready to market its new crack-proof, quieter lasting motor oil, the slogan, “Drain, Fill, Then Listen” was originated. But the real question was how to illustrate the act of listening. Since nearly everybody loves dogs, and the Scottie dog is a very popular breed worldwide, the company approached American illustrator Morgan Dennis, to use his famous etching of these two Scotties who appear to definitely be listening!
