A Penn Yan Kingfisher wood canvas square back motor canoe. You can row, paddle, motor, or if you find the sailing rigs, sail it. 14 ft. I got it from the second owner who related a story of how his family got the boat. It would by his description be a 1945 boat from BuffaloNew York. This is the original canvas. I used it a bit five years ago and it leaked a little then. Now the canvasis torn and needs replacement. Wood is very good original condition. Perhaps one broken rib but I cannot tell. see photo. Deck and transom are oak. Wales seem to be spruce. No cracks. Seats seem to be birch. I re-cannedone and had to fix the break in the seat. There is a shoe/step for a sailing mast but no sailing gear came with it. One set of oar locks came on the boat. Not sure if those oars did but they fit. Serial number is MCH-23. Only thing I know for sure is MC stands for \"motor canoe.\" A very nice boat to paddle or motor. I throw in two seat cushion PFD, and two PFD. Easily car-topped.THIS IS A FIVE DAY sale.
