1950s Vintage West Point Archtop Acoustic Guitar by Kay - Project!

Up for sale is a 1950s vintage West Point archtop acoustic by Kay. This is a project archtop guitar. It needs tuners, nut, bridge, tailpiece as well as having the back realigned and reglued. There also the usual assortment of finish chips, scratches, dings & etc.

Some Specs:

Scale Length: 12 7/8\" from nut to 12th fret

Upper Bout: 11\"

Lower Bout: 15 1/4\"

Body Depth at Strap Button: 3 3/4\"

The back and sides are laminated maple, the top appears to be laminated spruce. The neck has good relief and has a good neck angle, please see pics (bridge in pic for demonstration only & is not included with guitar). The neck joint appears and feels solid as well. Nice finish on front. Nice grain in rosewood fingerboard.
