Once in a while a good one comes along. They are becoming harder to find. You are offerding on a 1959 Rockola#1468 Jukebox, 120 play. It is one of the few that is a \"must have\" for many collectors. The 1959 Rockola symbolizes the style of the late 50s; big cars with big tail fins, Drive-ins, Rock n Roll, &Drive-in movie theaters. The \"fins\" on the Rockola came from the styling of a 57 Chevy, as well as the \"V\" hood emblem. It was a different time when being cool was hip.

It was found in Mansfield, OH. This Tempo 1 Jukebox was sitting for over 11 years in a rec room that was not used by the owner due to a long illness. The owner was a guitar player, owning over 40 guitars.In his youth,he couldn\'t read sheet music, he bought this Rockola and listened to the guitar music. From that point on, he learned to play by listening to the Rockola.

After wiping away some of the dust, putting a little lubricant on some of the key elements,my friendplugged it in and it played. The speakers are very powerful & clear. The jukebox is all original, I did not see any places were things had been disturbed or manipulated. The Jukebox would make a beautiful restoration or could be played as is, but does require cleaning,and a \"once over\"(component inspection)from what I see. You decide. It comes with 50 records(45 rpm).

Please keep in mind this is a 58 year old, icon,warrior. It is not new and comes with age, nicks, scratches and faded memories, but its still standing, proud and playing. I\'ve always enjoyed finding the rare ones and providing a piece of history& nostalgia tothe new owner. Will this icon be in your rec room? It could be.
