Hello, You are offerding on a 1961 Airline Town & Country Model electric guitar. This blast from the past is an all original-one owner guitar that was purchased by the original owner in his early teens and well kept. It has been used but not abused and shows some typical cosmetic wear for a guitar of this age, but is rock solid! Has some minor dings, scratches, and chips noticeable, as well a little rust present on the backside of the Kluson Tuning machines. Has very little noticeable fretwear, there is a small dibit in the fretboard on the third fret next to the inlay. Aside from all of this it is in what I feel is in exceptional condition, the bakelite or plastic panels on this instrument are free from cracks which is rare to find for a guitar of this age! I normally give all of the guitars I sell a complete detailing and set-up, but have chosen not to with this one due to it\'s age, value, and originality. I will leave that up to whomever wins it, there is some light dirt visible around the pickups, bridge, and panels on the front. All I have done was tune it up (the strings are old) and test all of the electronics through an amplifier, everything works, plays nice, the tone knob for the bridge pickup is a little scratchy. What you see is what you get, this guitar is being sold as is, please take into account that it is over fifty years old and appears to never have been tampered with. When spending this type of money on a vintage guitar I would suggest you have a professional luthier go through it. Also included is the original hardcase as pictured, which is in fair condition.
