a complete April dated 1964 ford 260 5bolt motor, has been sealed up under a mechanics bench since the 70\"s , only taken out to turn it over on occasions. has not been fired up since being removed I was told. Bought it to replace the wrong motor in a early 64 mustang, but never used it and sold the car. I was told this was out of a 64 Fairlane when I bought it. all the date codes are correct to a4 days span ,block is 4-d-9 , intake is 4-d-10 , heads are both 4-d-7 , timing cover is C4OE 6059a , intake cast # is c40e-9425, I opened up valve covers just to get pics and saw the torque spec id#s on all the rocker arms , distributor is also c4 code still has the carburetor adapter beneath the picker bracket. I also should add it has the main generator bracket still attached, it is missing the water pump, the thermostat housing is there but wasn\'t in pic but isincluded.I have never heard it run ,I was going to go through it myself. I don\'t warranty that it will run or start either,.in fact you will need to rebuild this core engine just to cover that ground.It is not frozen or locked up by any means or been subject to weather exposure other than taking pics outside.
