This is a 1966 Gibson Melody Maker D Original Vintage Guitar in the cherry red finish. Rare 2 pickup model. This one has lots of wear on the body and neck. There are many nicks, dings, scratches, buckle wear, and two bent keys. Normal finish checking. No cracks or crack repairs. Everything‘s original except for one fretboard inlay and the tremolo arm which is a newer repro. The nut may have been changed. I\'m not sure. Two pots date 1346541, and the other two 1346545. The frets and board show a bit of wear, but they are in really good shape for the age. Original jumbo frets have lots of fret life. Neck is 1 9/16” nut width. Plays well with nice action. Comes with original cardboard case. The case has seen better days and shows lots of wear. The accessory compartment is gone from the case. $59 shipping is for continental USA only.
