1966 John Deere 350 Crawler Loader with 9300 seriesBackhoe, with other attachments, restored.
There has been a ton of work done to this crawler loader but it is not perfect. It is work ready.Please read entire add and email me with any questions.
Restored1966 John Deere 350 Crawler Loader / Backhoe. Loader was adapted to fit anyskidsteer quick attach. The standard bucket bucket, stump bucket, and Forksshown in the pictures is attached with the standard skidsteer quick disconnectlevers. Only the standard bucket and stump bucketwill come with machine, not the forks. Backhoecomes off with a few pins and only takes 5 mins to remove.Pictures with brightyellow paint took when restored early last year. faded paint pictures taken few monthsago. The Deere agricultural green paint used on the engine faded fast so it was touched upwith someChevy orange. One of the first years of the Deere 350 and a John Deere 9300 series quickattach backhoe. Spent 2 years restoring this tractor & backhoe and finishedit last summer. I don\'t really have a use for it as I live in a residentialarea. I restored more for hobby. Also added auxiliary hoses to front and rearof tractor for backhoe and loader grapples, auxiliary hoses are run to the loader arms and have quick connects on the ends, backhoe aux hoses stop at back of machine and also have quick connects on them. Almost all wear parts on themachine are new EXCEPT undercarriage, current undercarriage is about 50%. I did not do precise measurements on wear, this is my estimate, please review the pictures of sprocket and trackchain. Front bucket pins have minor slack.. Engine was professionally built by local machine shop in Wheeling, completeengine rebuild with reconditioning of the crank. I\'ve put about 40 hours (estimate)onmachine since engine rebuild. Tractor has new engine (3 cyl, 135ci, gas),steering clutches, brake bands, clutch pressure plates, most seals, 80% of thehydraulic hoses are new, seat, fuel lines, wiring, gauges, and 2 new highcranking amp batteries. Receipts just under 9k in new parts alone. Machine wastaken 100% apart and wire wheeled to bare metal and painted.
I did some updates on thecrawler loader.The points were replaced with electronicignition. The lower dash & air cleaner at your feetwas removed & relocated.Throttle cable relocated to upper dash to a push-pull lever and the air cleaner relocated to mounting directly to carburetor. I did this because I am tall and had little to no foot room in these machines. I have a brand new cable with a nicely painted lower dash ready to go back in if you want to put it back to normal. Hours on machine unknown as hour meter did not work when I bought this machine. Unlike most JD 350 crawler loaders this one does not have a reverser. just a single reverse gear.
This is a 50 year old machine with 42 horse power so don\'t expect to do a lot of dirt work in a timely manner. Good for farm use with the quick attachextras.
