1968 Schwinn Stingray 3-speed runabout. Campus green. Serial number HD17948. Overall very good condition. The paint is fairly shiny and the chrome fenders are very bright. Paint has chips and scratches commensurate with age. Features the Sturmey Archer 3-speed handlebar mounted shifter. The brake and shifter cables have been replaced. The chrome on both rims is shiny, the front being an original Schwinn rim (missing one spoke) and an original Schwinn Superior tire with good tread and minor sidewall cracking. Holds air well. The rear rim is a replacement (not Schwinn) but appears as new and has an original Schwinn gripper slick that is excellent. The seat is original in very good condition with very minor wear.
