This good looking and great working 39 year old Trapper has not been carried, never used, and never sharpened. While both Dots are difficult to see behind the bolster, the position of the one that is most visible would clearly indicate this piece to be the “closely spaced” narrow 2-Dot version of the 1978 model. (FYI: the 2nd variation has 2-Dots widely spaced and centered under the USA). The beautiful dark bone matches nicely from side to side as well as being free from chips and cracks. Both blades show the factory edge and the \"Tested XX Razor Edge\" etching is full and perfect. Walk and talk snap is loud and strong, there no spots, no pits, and no major scratches. Folks, this is a very nice 70’s era Trapper and they ain’t makin’ any more of them…especially in this great condition, so offer to bring it home, and if you do you’ll be glad you did.
