This listing is for a souvenir program & scorecard magazine for the young 1978 SEATTLE MARINERS, expansion American League team in their 2nd season. This program was for a June 11, 1978 game against the BOSTON RED SOX in the Kingdome in Seattle. The scorecard pages have been marked with handwritten scoring markings (see photo #2 above). Boston won this game 5-3 with Dennis Eckersley the starting & winning pitcher vs Jim McLaughlin, Rick Burleson& Dwight Evans hit homers for the Red Sox; Bruce Bochte (who is pictured on the cover) hit a homer for the hometown Mariners.PLUS, also included are two ticket stubs from that game - as well as newspaper clippings and box score for the next mornings Seattle newspaper. The tickets are from 100 Field Level seats, Aisle 103, row 19, seats 111 & 112. The scorecard program has 42 numbered pages, and is 8 x 11 inches in sizeThis 38 year old scorecard program is still in excellent condition, except for the scoring markings on the two score sheet pages. All four corners of this score card program are still very firm & strong. There are no creases orfolds on any pages, no markings on any pages, other than the two scoring pages. It has been stored untouched in a box in a climatecontrolled room & smoke free environment for all those years.
