This is the inaugural year of issue for the American Gold Eagle Program. A definite must-have for your collection.

The obverse displays a \"version of Augustus Saint-Gaudens\' full-length figure of Liberty with flowing hair, holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The reverse depicts a Male eagle carrying an olive branch flying above a nest containing a female eagle and eaglets.\"

The eagle in the photos is the actual coin you\'ll receive. Its been graded almost perfect by PCGS with the traditional blue label. No visible issues on the coin or holder. Its a nice clean American gold eagle.
