It is 5 1/2\" inches long closed, 9.75\" open, and it the BIG DADDY of the toothpick knives with beautiful celluloid handles in TORTOISE SHELL, High Carbon Steel blade, Nickel Silver bolsters, and Brass liners. The blade is etched \"W. R. Case & Sons\". The tang stamp reads: \"W. R. CASE & SONS BRADFORD, PA 19 USA 92\" and \"TESTED XX 71098.\" THERE were only \"500\" of these made according to the book \"Case Classics Best In The Long Haul\", written by Jim Parker and Bill Penley (Page 137 - Item P), so you know this is an \"extremely rare\" item! The knife is in very good overall condition, with some light scuff marks and scratches. 2001 Price guide lists value at $600 (if box and certificate is included, and knife in mint condition; thus this knife is priced below that price because there is no original box, no certificate, and the knife has some scuff marks, etc).
