These are two glass acid bottles with their lead stoppers and mounting cages. These fit inside early soda-acid fire extinguishers, when you turned the extinguisher upside down the acid ( approx. 4 oz.)mixed with the soda solution inside the extinguisher causing CO2 to be produced which forced the contents out of the extguisher to put out the fire. One bottle appears to have Q and Q specifications B embossed on the bottom, the other bottle has a W in a circle and 5 embossed on the bottom. Both bottles are 5 3/4" tall and 2 1/4" in diam. One cage appears to be lead, the other cage is stainless steel.
