First person to offer $125.00 gets these two bonds. Two of the earliest bonds the confederacy issued. These were both issued at the beginning of the war before the capital moved to Richmond. The ball #4 is in very fine condition. Small tear at top right barely visible (see pics). Usual folds are present. Confederate treasury seal is present. The bond contains 14 coupons. One thing that makes this bond special is that on the back is a purple bondholders committee stamp. This stamp was used in England to stop England investors from cashing them after the civil war ended and before final interest was owed to the holder of the bond. So, this bond was printed in the confederate states and had to get past the union blockade in order for this bond to get to England. Very interesting piece. The ball #1 is a $50 bond and was the first bond issued by the confederacy. It is in good condition and contains 13 coupons. There is a small tear in the top middle of the bond (see pics).
