There are marks/ bumpson the wood legs and front carved wooden accentsconsistent with age/use. Each measures approx. 32 1/2\" tall, arm to arm 26\", from floor to cushion 18\", front to back 21\". The actual seat area arm to arm (inside) 20\" and front toback 20\".No bad odors. Great shabby chic or great to reupholster.
