2 Vintage 1930\'s NOMA Composition Doll Angel Christmas Tree Toppers

Here are 2 vintage 1930\'s - 40\'s era composition angel Christmas tree toppers. Unmarked, made by NOMA I believe. Approx. 10\" tall and across the wings. These angels have hand painted composition heads. The arms move. Sturdy cardboard tube bodies and metal clips on the backs to attach to tree branches. One angel has an ivory satin gown and one has an ivory vinyl / plastic gown. White mohair with silver foil headbands. Embossed silver foil belts. Embossed silver foil cardboard wings.
Fair condition overall, with wear, aging, soiling. Wings are in poor condition. Metal clips show tarnish. No musty or smoke odor.
1) Ivory satin gown angel also has a light cord wired to the back. This angel comes with a handwritten note that states \"Mom\'s angel tree top 1938 bought when lighted tops first became available\".
The angel\'s head has some cracks and crazing, scrapes on the nose, light soiling. She has blue eyes and lashes. Her arms may be painted wood, have darkened/soiled with age. The silver wings are torn and creased. The belt hasless wear and creases.
Gown has brown aging and soiling, a small fray. Has a patterned white-on-white rayon underskirt with aging, soiling, edge fraying. The off-white cloth covered 10 1/2\" electrical cord has a bakelite plug. Clear hard plastic halo to fit over a light bulb (red bulb is included). Tested and works.
2) Ivory vinyl/plastic gown is printed with silver flowers and shamrocks. I believe these arms are painted composition. Her face has light smudges and minor crazing, tiny nose rub. She has black eyes. Some brown glue residue from the headband is on the hair.
These wings are actually gold on the back and have silver foil wrapped around the front of them. Lots of wear and creases, tears to these wings. There is masking tape on the back of the headband and back of the wing tips. There is a 1\" torn piece out of the back of the bodice gown (below the clip).
No light cord or halo with this angel.
