This is an absolutely gorgeous sounding and looking K-52. I purchased this new from a Steinway dealer\'s showroom in 2007. It hasn\'t moved from my studio room. It\'s been played lightly and maintained religiously by certified technicians. There are no mechanical issues, and cosmetically it is in stunning shape. I have all the paperwork proving I\'m the original owner and receipts from tuning and maintenance over the years.
I am a composer and music producer and this piano was the best sounding of the bunch I played in the showroom when purchasing it. The lows are strong, incredible for an upright, the middle octaves very balanced and the highs are bell-like. There is very light wear on the hammers, as photographed. It was hard to capture the richness of the veneer pattern with the reflections but you can see in the photos it\'s a beautiful finish. Deep mahogany.
Please feel free to contact me via message. We can schedule a time for you to play this piano, discuss details, answer any questions, etc.
I am located an hour and a half west of NYC and about the same north of Philly. It originally was shipped from Philadelphia to my place so I\'m assuming a sale within the tri-state area would allow for a fairly simple transport. Also, piano is located on first floor of home, with an easy route to the front entrance and out to the street which is a main road for easy loading.
I also have a custom fitted macintosh cover for the piano that will go with the sale.
