RARE!! SYNCHRONIZER 205S by Georg Jensen Electronics for NAGRA III np Reel-to-Reel recorder
DO YOU HAVE A NAGRA IIInp? Then this is for you!
***!!**If you dont know what this is, you probably do not need it. Nagra Collectors, GO FOR IT!
Not sure of date but one source said 1966 for this unit. **UPDATE- IC chips inside have 1974 date code so I am guessing this is around that period, or was upgraded/fixed at some point.**
Made for the famous Nagra III np recorder, used on countless movies. My understanding is you need this for the Nagra to sync to film. There was this and the SLP, but the Jensen was the better unit.
I got this one from a University. I do not know any other history for this item.Georg Jensen was the son of movie producer Harry G. Jensen. In 1966 he started as an independent company with Georg Jensen Electronics, which manufactured equipment for synchronizing sound and picture.210x125x80mm / 8.3x4.9x3.1inch
No cables provided with unit, but should be able to make them from schematic. This unit appears to be in good shape but I have no way to test it.
