20s vtg French art deco MULTICOLOR BEADED PURSE w/ CARVED CELLULOID FRAME

Click to View Image Album This is a gorgeous French 1920s deco style beaded purse with very nice carved celluloid frame. The glass beadwork of bag has black background and bright green, turquoise, red, gold and lavender stylized paisley sort of pattern. The frame is the color of horn, a caramel-y tan shade and it has egg-and-dart pattern and a big celluloid push knob on top to open and close.
Beaded part of purse is 7\" high and 4\" wide, same on both sides of bag. The frame 4-1/4\" across inside from hinge to hinge.
NO handle on purse, probably originally was beaded and it is missing. Also I am sure there was fringe around bottom of bag, and it is entirely gone, no signs of fringe are left. There is a small missing swirl of black beads near bottom on one side of bag, and some very small areas with loose or missing beads around edges. The frame is super, works properly. Inside bag also very nice with original lining. Beadwork needs a little TLC, otherwise good. No labels or marks, purchased in Paris and I am sure French.
