This is a pair of 3782461 \"camelback\" heads for a Small Block Chevy engine. Chevrolet camelback heads are one of the most iconic Small Block Chevy high performance pieces of all time. These heads were used as the heart of performance builds since they were released by Chevrolet in the early 60\'s. This particular pair is dated K 2 64 and I 23 64 as shown. This is a very nice original pair of heads.
These heads are in good original condition as shown.No breaks, repairs, or modifications. Just cleaned and checked for cracks. These heads have no cracks or repairs. All threads are in good condition. The valves are the original GM units. There is no porting or corrosion. These are simply very nice original Camel Hump heads.
These camel hump heads were installed on cars by GM in 2 different forms. The first form came with 1.94 Intake and 1.5 inch exhaust valves. The second form came equipped with 2.02 intake 1.6 inch exhaust valves. While most buyer\'s final goal is to have a set of 2.02/1.6 valved heads, finding an original pair is not always the best way to go. This is because a worn pair of 2.02/1.60 heads usually costs more than a 1.94/1.50 set and he seats are often worn to the point that they need major work. However, a 1.94/1.50 valved pair of heads and easily be turned into a 2.02/1.60 set and are generally a better pair of heads for the machinist to work with due to the fact that the seats have \"more meat\" to cut into. These heads have the 1.94/1.50 valves. The valve still sit high in these heads so thy could be used with these size valves or opened up for the 2.02/1.60 valves.
