For sale are 4 Herters Model 72 Canvasback duck decoys. There are 2 hens and 2 drakes. These decoys were purchased new but health problems prevented their use. There are weighted keels that make these decoys ride great. The decoys have never been put in the water, or even had decoy line attached. I don\'t know if Herters decoys are stillmanufactured, but I remember ordering from the Herters catalog in the 1960s and early 1970s. These decoys have a hard coating that will not dent or gouge like the softer foam Herters decoys.

***SHIPPING: I put $35.00 shipping as the first set of decoys I shipped was to Utah (zone8). I estimated the shipping to be $21.00, but I was way off. The USPS box cost $5.99, the shipping was $21.00, and the postal \"surcharge\" was $17.45 due to the size of the box.I complained about the surcharge, but was told by the postmaster that the computer placed the surcharge. Even at the $35.00 I charge for shipping, you can see that I am taking less than the $99.00 to cover the shipping.If any one has suggestions on how to ship for less, I would appreciate the info as I wouldbe pleased to lower the #35.00 shipping cost!
