4CX5000A tube was removed from a functioning broadcast transmitter that was decommissioned and has been hipot and continuity tested. This tube is a tetrode so it takes very little drive for full output. Less than 100W of drive can yield 10KW+ of output RF power. Perfect tube for that homebrew legal limit loafer.
