For sale is a fantastic 7\" die cast metal waterline model of the French Line or CGT\'s flagship the TSS Normandie. This is a period child\'s toy made in France by Meccano and Dinky toys. On the bottom it bears the name of the ship and the Compagnie Generale Transatlantique.

There are various minor areas of paint loss as are to be expected. Both masts are still present. There is damage of a sort to the rear upper decks as they have separated somewhat and are raised above the main hull. One lifeboat may also be missing from the port side at the very back of the lineup of boats. Whether these flaws are from vigorous play or done in the manufacture I cannot say. Nevertheless this is a rare survivor in pretty good condition.
