These knives were found at an estate sale. Am not sure if they are oyster knives, as I could not find any like these. They have very nice handles, and on the handles is etched, \"PAT PEND\". Handles are smooth and shaped to fit in your hand. Blades are not sharp, but the tips are very sharp. The handles are similar in color to that of an oyster. They are very attractive. The wood case is in good shape, except one of the hinges is loose. The lining in case looks to be felt, but it is not soft, and appears to be old, and a little rough. The handles measure 4-1/2\" long, the blades measure 4-1/4\" long. The case measures 15\" x 10-1/2\" x 2\".
