It was designed especially for the North American market for use in fire-rated doors and windows.It is the only fire-rated glass-ceramic that is made without the use of hazardous heavy metals antimony or arsenic.

MONOLITHIC

PYRAN®Platinummonolithic fire-protection rated glazing material is 3/16\" (5 mm) thick. It is intended for use in non-impact, safety-rated locations such as transoms and windows with fire-rating requirements up to 90 minutes.
