Q:Why choose 9 Band Spectrum LED grow light? Light Spectrum and Plant Absorption.
A:
Dark-Red 650~660nm, 620-630nm : the best spectrum for plant flowering and fruiting;
Blue 430-440nm, 450-460nm, 470nm : maximum peak points for vegetative growth and absorption;
Orange 610-615nm : can meet the lower nm rating to make leaf larger and the flowers more brilliant as well as attract insects\" pollination for raising fruiting;

Q: If one LED is broken, will it affect other LEDs work?
A: No! Each LEDs has external Zener diode which allows current to flow when there is damage LEDs in string circuit. Zener diode also has the ability to improve LED static breakdown.
Q: What is the difference between 1W and 3W LEDs? Is 3W better?
A: Of course, our 3W chip is better; both on brightness and light penetration. There are many LED Grow Light with 1W LED bulb, but 3W bulbs will appear brighter, 3W LEDs produce more usable light compared with the 1W LEDs in terms of actual PAR (Photosynthetic Active Radiation) output, this means that they will penetrate better. Compared to 1W LED bulb LED Grow Light, LED Grow Light by 3W LED bulb saves more electricity power.
Q: How about the performance of led grow light compare with HID/HPS lighting?
A: LED lights cost more money to front, but you will save about 50% power consumption of the light, cooling costs (very expensive in the summer) and annual bulb replacement. Follow the guidelines for recommended coverage area, and your LEDs will impress you with their yield. Comparing with HPS/MH bulbs LEDs will reduce much heat output, and also substantially reduces the risk of a fire hazard, especially in an enclosed space. Our led grow light mainly are red and blue spectrum, these two spectrums are the peak of plants absorption.
Q: Why the light is 240W (or other watt) in the listing, but the actual power consumption is 145W+/-3%?
A: As you know that the big advantage of led light is power saving, so it needs less power to run the light. There are white, blue and red LEDs in the led grow light and the voltage of white and blue led is 3.2-3.4v and voltage of red led is 2.2-2.4v. And consuming less power will not affect function of the light to plants.
Q: Does this light emit much heat?
A: LEDs are the most efficient lights nowadays. They produce so little heat that you can actually let the plant touch the light (although it is not recommended - as you will reduce the size of your growing area). Any heat produced by the unit is absorbed by the heat sink and dissipated by the fans in the rear of the light.
