This isa MACO 300 AMATEUR AMPLIFIER .

This Amplifier uses 6 tubes to operate, It had been converted to use 6LB6 AND 6LF6 Tubes(it had 2 6LB6 DRIVERS AND 4 6LF6 FINALS) I operated this amp about 2 years ago and it did real good, i quit using this amplifier when i had purchased a bigger amp and just didn\'t use it any longer, so it has collected dust ever since. Also i might add that with the conversion, this amp did put out better than a regular 300 maco.

The reason we are listing this amplifier as parts and not working is because it has been sitting for two years or so and it may need to be checked out by a tech. before use. I did however plug it in for a little while to see if everything still looked good as far as powering it up but i did not hook it to anything else to see if it still transmitted or not,

Also this amplifier is being Sold as is and NO TUBES, we have the tubes listed in another sale. we try to list accordingly, and being sold as is, but it looks like it would work fine, the outside and inside of the unit could use a little dusting off as it has been sitting on a shelf. This Amplifier has a bigger transformer than a regular 300 maco has in it so it will cost more to ship this one. I shipped a 300 a few months ago and it cost $55 to ship and it had a smaller transformer in it, so this one will be a bit more to ship. PLEASE NOTE: Where you see the front of this amp, above the meter is where someone had a strip of masking tape and i believe it would clean up pretty good.
