I am a volunteer at a charity and not an expert on clocks, but I did plug this in and flipped theswitch in back - the red night light immediately came on and the clock began to hum (I\'m not sure how accurate it is)

The TurnStyles Thrift Store is operated by CatholicNeighborhood Outreach, Inc. in Kansas. We’d love for you to visit ourthrift store which is located at 9750 W. 87th Street in Overland Park,KS. We are directly across from the main branch of the Johnson CountyLibrary. We are open Monday-Saturday 10 am-6 pm.

Our sales group is a 30-member volunteer group dividedinto 10 different shifts spread out over the five-day week. We don\'t have a\"shipping department\". Each volunteer handles his own itemsstart-to-finish.Mostof our volunteers take their listed items homewith them in order to be able to answer questions and ship quickly once thesale is over. This arrangement precludes our offering combined shipping.
