This listing is for the agave \'Little Shark\' hybrid plant shown in the photographs. This is wonderfully healthy plant which is the result of crossing agave macroacantha with victoria reginae. This plant is shown growing in a one gallon nursery pot and is around 6 inches across or so. This plant will eventually grow to around 12 to 18 inches wide, but expect slightly smaller if pot-grown. Our plants here in the Central Valley of California survive the winters in temps to mid-twenties with no ill-effect with very little or no protection Literature states they can tolerate down into the mid-twenties or so.
Plant will be sent bare-root, with roots wrapped in paper towels in plastic bag. Your plant will quickly re-establish itself after being re-planted. Ensure new soil is slightly moist, but not wet, then let it dry out between light waterings. Provide good drainage.
Plant will be sent off priority mail within three days of cleared PayPal payment. Payment is expected within 3 days of sale end or purchase. We may have to slightly bend the leaf tips in attempt to place in shipping container (to keep shipping costs down). The plant will not suffer and new leaves will quickly replace the older ones.
