A beautiful Aladdin oil lamp. Clear glass, WashingtonDrape (plain stem) pattern with a Model B Aladdin burner and twist chimney.
The Aladdin twist, approximately 12 – ¾” longchimney is included and has no chips or cracks. The lamp base measures 9” talland it is 6 – ½” wide in the largest area and the footed octagonal base is justover 6” across.
The chimney and glass base have no chips or cracks.There are a couple of small barely noticeable straw marks on the base interiorwhich is common from that era of glassware. The burner adjusting knob turnswell and you can see the interior metal part and the wick moving easily up ordown when doing so. The very top part were the mantle sits on does have somerust and small nicks of chipped metal on the interior rim edge from normal use.Please refer to the photos for the best details.
The plain stem Washington Drape pattern was used byAladdin from 1941 to 1953. Guaranteed old.All original. This beautiful lamp wouldmake a great addition to any Aladdin or general oil lamp collection!
