This sale is for a used, well cared for Alvarez Yairi DY62C Burled Mahogany Acoustic-Electric Dreadnought Cutaway Guitar.

It is in strong VG+ condition. This guitar has been well cared for but the top had a small crack on the top, which was professionally repaired and is pictured. Very difficult to see. There is light playing wear around the pickguard, but no scratches or dings. The back is in super shape. The neck is smooth and clear of bumps and dings.

One minor area near 5th fret very near the fret board. So small I could not get a picture of it. It is not in the way when playing and is not an issues. Only mention so all facts are known about condition. Also the darker spot on the backside of guitar is only that, a darker grain in the wood. Not damaged or repaired. Over-all this is a fine guitar and would rate 9 out of 10. The case has been used and shows a few scuffs here and there. Works as it should, protects guitar and latches and hinges work. Frets are in excellent condition and have plenty of life left. Guitar plays and sound excellent.

The serial number on the label is 62141
On the inside of guitar at neck block are these numbers 01 070 158
So if I had to guess I would say January of 2007 158 guitar in production.
The guitar needs nothing done to it at.
Action is perfect for any style of playing.
Plays and sound like the steller guitar it is.
This is a high end, quality guitar that has had professional repair work done to the top. It is now stable and has no other issues.

Okay once again I will add some info. From another er

From what I\'ve found the guitars were fitted with 600T electronics between about 2000 through 2003 Also they changed their date coding in 2001 (a \"12\" would indicate 2000, and then \"01\" = 2001, \"02\" = 2002 etc etc) which leads my best guess to be that the 01 indicates 2001.
So all that beingsaid, not 100% certain of the date. I am however, 100% confident this is a quality guitar.

Even with the repair would rate it 9 on a scale of 1-10 If you want a perfect guitar, this is not it. If you want asuper guitar, this is it.
