Fantastic Americana Reverse Painted Glass/Inlaid Wood Tray

This is an amazing and superb piece of Americana most likely from the early 1900\'s to early-mid 1900\'s. It is a tray of reverse painted glass, with American Eagle over the Stars and Stripes USA Flag overlaid with a banner reading \'UNITED STATES NAVY\'. This glass is laid over blue and gold butterfly wings which comprise the background. This reverse painted glass is set in handcrafted inlaid wood tray base. It measures 21 inches by 13.5 inches.

This looks fabulous hanging on the wall-which is where it has long been displayed by the previous collector who owned it.

A Great crossover Militaria, Naval, Folk Art and Americana collectible.

A silimiar one priced at 1800.00 sold at Brimfield last year.

Tray is in excellent aged condition with minor wear to back from previous use. Paint on the reverse glass is in fine condition.
