This charming French Bleuette doll has a perfect head that is marked on the back: UNIS, FRANCE, 71 60 149, 4/0. This is the exact head mark used on the re-introduced Bleuette doll of 1930. This doll was an inch taller than the original Bleuette\'s of 1915-1920. The 1930 doll also came with numerous clothing patterns. The doll seen here has set brown glass eyes and an open mouth with four set teeth. There is no damage to her head and her complexion is lovely. There is a brown mark on her lower lip (photo #7). I\'m not sure what it is and didn\'t try to remove it because I didn\'t want to damage the original lip paint. It\'s not obvious in actual size. Her body is in very nice condition and well strung. It looks to have been repainted and the left hand is probably a replacement. It doesn\'t match the right. Her replaced clothing is in the style of the 1930\'s with a printed cotton dress and a white pinafore. Her head is stuffed with tissue paper and the pressed styrofoam pate is lightly attached. She wears a very old, thick mohair wig that may be original. The wig is simply pinned to the pate, I leave it up to the next owner to glue it down or not.
