Antique 19th c. Pennsylvania nine patch quilt top~madders calicos mourning fabrics 74x84\"

Great estate find this late 1800\'s nine patch quilt top is filled with fabrics post Civil war. The colorway is a deep dark indigo with pink squiggles and a squiggly amoeba pattern of sorts. Lots of indigo calicos, mourning fabrics, stripes, denims, and madder browns to name but a few.

All hand pieced. The history of this as I was told it came from Pennsylvania and their grandmother brought this with her to Oregon in the 1920\'s and has kept this in cedar storage for all these years intending to quilt this someday.

This is in excellent condition. I found no holes or nibbles, missing thread . I did see a storage stain on one of the madder blocks . I did not attempt to remove as this has never been laundered and I would prefer leaving that to the new owner so they can use their own cleaning method on this virgin fabric.

This measures 74\" x 84\".
