Offered is a very seldom seen Gordian Hettich and Son 2 horn Trumpeter with a very nice and unique grape leaf motif, one I have not seen. Thesoldierfigure, bellows, reedsand bone pointers appear all original as far as I can tell but please use the photos tojudge it yourself.It is in perfect working condition sounding on the half and the hourwith 2 notes 3 callsfollowed with the gong.The movement is a 30 hr. weightdriven movement and is signed with a maple leaf with GHS within it. A small split in the lower front case under the dial but is not verynoticeable. Far fewerTrumpeter clocks were made over Cuckoo\'s and therefor these are somewhat rare and very collectable. This is a large piece and clean example that displays beautifully with arichmediumbrown color.
