Offered is a large andrichly carved European Walnut Rooster and grape leaf motif Cuckooclock from the Black Forest Germany. The carving isbeautifully carved out of a solid piece of Walnut and is very thick with no repairs orbreaks! There is 1 leaf with minorchipping and not reallynoticeable, see close up photo #9.The bone hands are original along with the pipes and bellows. Pointers are a matching set which are unusual and a seldom seen design. I have left the bird as found,looks as though it has been repainted at some point. The leafs arenicely modeled and dimensionally carved. The clock listed has been professionally serviced and is ready to enjoy. It runs strong and keepsperfect time. The movement is a pinned 30 hr.
