We are pleased to be able to offer this antique decorative birch bark porcupine quill-work canoe dating to the late nineteenth or early twentieth century and made by a Canadian Micmac Indian. Typical quill-work decoration and spruce root binding to both sides of the canoe. An opportunity to own an incresingly rare and hard to find item.

Condition
Inevitably there are losses to the quill-work decoration and the root binding, the seat is also missing. Please see the photos which show the condition. The canoe presents well for a piece of this age and would be a fine addition to any quality collection.
