Up for your consideration is this antique cap bomb made of cast iron. It isa figure with a monkey\'s face and a black man\'s body in a squatting position.The cap goes between its shirt and pants.A string was used in the loop at the top to \"snap\" it and detonate the cap.

It is unmarked. Research indicates that this racially insensitive piece is called \"Pickaninny.\" It was manufactured circa 1890 by a company called \"Ives.\"Its size is approximately 2.5 inches tothe top of the loop.
