Item: Antique Chocolate Tray

At the time of this listing, I have (2) of these trays that I am listing separately.

Description: For Sale is an Antique 1920-40\'s Solid Metal Chocolate Mold Tray that has a 14 Pound Chocolate Capacity. This came from \"HOOTON CHOCOLATE COMPANY Newark New Jersey\" Factory. Since this tray is Embossed, that is exactly what would be on each large bar of chocolate. This tray is not cast iron which is fortunate for shipping costs. Many of the Non-Industrial Chocolate Molds are made of Cast Iron but they are usually smaller molds of Bunnies, Chicks, Cutesy Designs, etc..... This one is made of THICK Gauge Tin I suppose. It seems to weigh too much to be tin though and the factory would need something more durable than tin I would imagine. Perhaps because of its thickness though Tin worked fine? This is the same type of metal that I see used for Vintage Metal Cookie Sheets/Flat Trays. I am sure my photos will best further describe this item.

Dimensions: 19\"L x 11\"W x 2 1/2\"T and Weighs Almost 3 Pounds.

Condition: On a scale of 1 - 10 (Ten being New in Package Only), I can confidentlygrade this item\'s condition to be a solid 7.5 at least. Overall and Especially for being 60+ Years Old, this VERY RARE Collectible Chocolate Tray is in Very Good Condition. There are Absolutely ZERO Dents/Dings/Holes/Significant Rust Issues. There is a SLIGHT Twist to it though so it is about 90% straight instead of 100%. That\'s barely noticeable but its my job to truly scrutinize. It seems to have been finished in a greenish paint at one time and there is still some of that sporadically showing in spots. It has decades of Natural Patina and that is EXACTLY what gives it the charm that it surely has. My photos are anaccurate depiction of this item\'s TRUECondition.
